We are searching for an energetic and outgoing individual to work as a Medical Assistant in a busy specialty practice.  This role plays a critical part of the support for our patients and providers.

This role performs primarily clinically oriented functions such as phlebotomy, supporting and participating in procedures performed by nurses and physicians in-office, patient teaching, cleaning and stocking room to adhere to infection control policies and procedures, and taking initiative to streamline workflow.

The position requires flexibility and initiative. A proven ability to worth within an office practice collaborating with other CMA's, office staff and clinical personnel is a must! Ability to empathize with patients and demonstrate compassion is also required.  We are willing to train a new graduate with an outstanding academic history and rotation through medical practices.

The position will rotate through half days on weekends - approximately every four weeks, but will receive comparable weekdays off when on the weekend rotation.
